Intertraffic Amsterdam 2008, a busy venue

Intertraffic Amsterdam was a very busy event for Advanced Light. In the aftermath we see that the use of inpavement lights have increased significantly since the last show. However, a lot of users informed us that their installations of competing products had not worked out as intended. And some of the reasons can be listed as:

  • The electronic did not work after a couple of days
  • The fixture was torn out of the road from trucks
  • The light intensity was not as expected
  • The service from the provider was non existing
  • The so called snow plough safe was not really snow plough proof after all

We also learned that the users now started to understand the difference between price and quality. New users have high expectations that the product should be less than EUR 100,00 per light spot, and for interior lights for your private drive way, that might be sufficient. Existing users with poor experience clearly said that when going for the next project, they will look into products developed and manufactured and with good references from the real environment.

Advanced Light has developed a tough light for tough environment. We are talking about lights developed to withstand the impact of a landing Boeing 747 Jumbo jet. In other words, weight is not a limitation in the use of the Rocon series. We supply serious products for serious users in serious environments.
