LFV extends framework agreement with Advanced Light

June 2008:

LFV, Luftfartsverket (the Swedish CAA) has called their option for extension of the framework agreement of the supply of airfield lighting fixtures for one more year. This is a clear recognition of the product acceptance at one of Scandinavia‚Äôs major hubs, Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) as well on other Swedish airports.

This is a major international break through in recognition of the quality our product represents, says Herman Anker, Sales Director in Advanced Light AS.

LFV has during the last couple of years carried out extensive trial programs with several suppliers of airfield ground lighting. Their decision is based on the extremely positive results from ADLI, although the initial pricing was higher, the life cycle cost showed extreme benefits compared to any other supplier.

One of the good results was from runway 08-26 where five fixtures had been installed on a high speed exit over 15 months without lamp failure or replacement and without rubber build up in front of the prism! Any airport operator recognized this problem as a maintenance issue.
